The Japan Reinforced Plastics Society (JRPS) aims to contribute to the advancement and spread of the skills and techniques of the reinforced plastics industry and its development. In collaboration with industry and academia, we are actively engaged in the following project activities. We would like to invite all people involved in the FRP business to become a member of the JRPS.
FRPから複合材料トータルへ

Fiber Reinforced Plastics (FRP) have a history of 60 years. Today, FRPs have been applied in many fields. The most significant transition occurred in the 1980s, which was the dawn of the advanced composite material (ACM) era. ACMs are still minor in terms of volume but are essential materials of advanced technologies in the fields of aerospace, transportation, telecommunication, energy, and more. We will expand our current projects beyond FRP issues and incorporate the ACMs of the next generation.

本会の原点(目的と事業)

The objective of the JRPS is to “contribute to the development of the FRP industry by conducting survey and research on production and technology related to FRP in general, provide guidance, and promote the growth of fiber reinforced plastics in Japan.” To achieve this objective, we will continue to focus on the following projects.

1. Survey, research, and guidance on the issues of FRP production and technology, etc.

2. Publication and distribution of journals and distribution of survey documents related to FRP

3. Implementation of FRP conferences, observations, and workshops

4. Cooperation with producers, processors, dealers, and users. Communication with relevant authorities and organizations

5. Promotion of FRP in general, and development of the fields where FRP can be utilized

6. Projects of each item listed above and other projects that are necessary to achieve our objectives
